Description
Millions of people around the world secretly worry they’re not as bright and capable as other people “think” they are. They dismiss their accomplishments as a fluke or “no big deal.” They often unconsciously overcompensate with crippling perfectionism, over-preparation, maintaining a lower profile, withholding their talents and opinions, and never finishing important projects. It’s called the Impostor Syndrome. Women are particularly susceptible. If this sounds like you or someone that you supervise, teach or work with, rest assured that there is a cure. Join us for an energetic and interactive workshop led by speaker and author, Dr. Valerie Young.
Sponsored by the Office of the Vice-President Academic & Provost, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Lassonde School of Engineering, and Faculty of Science.
